I hear you, Fred. I remember in the recent past when I was forwarding other perspectives to you, you replied that Abraham was enough for you. Do you remember that? I'm happy to see the expansion.

Regarding reaching for a better feeling thought: Isn't every bottom marked by an inflection point? There are many ways to turn things around, but how can it measured? If not by how we feel, then by what?

None of it is absolutely true. That is the ultimate point. Do we really know the Universal Law and how it works? It appears that a practice/drug works or not, but do we really know that it is? Science tells us now that our left brains (logical) part receives data at a max. 15 bits per second. So what part of the "big picture" are we really getting?

The teachings are just a different belief system and that is OK. But to get to the root of your suffering, simply reaching for better feeling thoughts no matter what process you use will just be a temporary solution making you feel better, just like a drug.

It's a big subject that I have just scratched the surface of. My guidance is just moving me beyond LOA. I resisted this at first because of my strong attachment to the beliefs. I understand that writing this will be controversial especially with my LOA friends. All I can suggest is that you be as transparent as possible and question everything.

Fred,

I draw a distinction between Law Of Attraction: The Universal Law ,and Law Of Attraction: The Teaching

The Universal Law is at work whether believed or not, and cannot be seen as a drug, any more than gravity can be.

I can see how The Teachings can be used as a drug, but I'm curious as to why you state that this is the way it is "understood by most." How could this be absolutely true? What has caused you to believe this?
