How Many Sessions Does It Take For Me To Return To Wellness?

How many sessions does it take for me to return to wellness?

This is a question most asked from clients or potential clients.  And it is a question that I love to address!  Many of my colleagues often tell their clients a specific number.  I never do that!  Recently, in a discussion with a chiropractor, she told me that clients like to be told and need guidance.  I completely disagree with this statement.

The answer I give my clients or potential clients is that I never give specific numbers and here is why….

I know that when someone comes to see me, the possibility of complete wellness is there.  And this is not just some “airy fairy” statement!  I have witnessed it and personally experienced it in many situations. Those that understand quantum physics understand this.  My spiritual Lakota grandfather would tell a story about doing a “doctoring” in a sweat lodge and the person would come out of there completely healed.  But then, people would ask him how they are feeling, instill doubt in them and the illness would return because of the doubt.

To give someone a number, which has to be completely a guess at best because everyone is different vibrationally, is not helpful.  If I was to say to someone that it will take you ten sessions to see a change, then they are programming that into their system.  I expect immediate shifts!  And it is all about intention!

The statement that the chiropractor made demonstrates the philosophical difference between the western medicine approach to wellness and mine.  I empower the client to take charge of their own wellness.  This work is about helping people take back their power that they have given away which is why their illness appeared in the first place.  Teaching people to pay attention to the way they feel is the most valuable teaching that I can offer anyone.

Some will say that it does not make good business sense to operate this way and that I cannot run a profitable business with my approach.  I say that I cannot help anyone the other way and I will never operate my business with the profit first mentality.

Many people ask me about different healing modality or practitioners and I always give the same answer.  It doesn’t matter what I think about the modality or person.  How does it make you feel?  Since we are all unique in our vibration, only you can tell how something or someone feels.  If it feels good to you then it will be effective.  If it doesn’t, don’t do it!  If you listen to others (the peanut gallery!) it will just confuse you.  Learn to pay attention and trust your own feelings and you will never go wrong.

Take charge of your own wellness!

I had a couple of your treatments and with in a few minutes felt incredibly different and better! I agree with you that each person is different and each person’s needs are different. I know that I am in charge of my wellness and being open to the experience only helps me benefit from your gifts. Your healing ability is very strong and effective , I wish all could experience what you offer to enhance their well being or help with them in trying to feel better without limiting themselves into a certain amount of “sessions”.
