Allowing is like a Google search.

Understanding Allowing into 2010 language.

Recently, it came to me that if you know how to do a Google search, then you know how to allow!  You just might not realize it!

When you are trying to find something or someone, you type a question on Google and hit the send button.  At this point, you don’t try to guess the answer or figure it out.  You wait and voila…the internet (Source) provides you with many possibilities.  So, to recap, you press the send button, LET GO and TRUST the answer will appear.  You don’t sit there and wonder if you will receive results similar to the past or worry that the next time you search there won’t be an answer.  You stay PRESENT and the results reveal themselves to you.

What happens when you are too specific in your request?  The internet (Source) responds with a very limited amount of options.

What happens if you ask the same question over and over again?  The internet (Source)  provides you with the same results over and over.  The internet (Source) does not scold you for asking over and over again.  Simply the same information is repeated.

What if you don’t see the results that you are looking for?  You ask a different question and get different results.

And when you click on one of the results, you decide if it is what you are looking for and you follow that path, which then leads you in a specific way.

But what if you click on a result and decide that it’s not for you?  You can either go back to the other possibilities that were on the previous page, ask again or ask in a different way.

What about speed!

It depends on the type of modem/connection you have!  Do you use a very slow dial-up (mind) connection?  You know, one that you have to manually connect to with a phone line that is used for other purposes and is not dedicated to your computer.  Or do you have a high speed (heart), always connected broadband connection that is always available?  High speed connections are less resistant, allowing more information to pass through.

What happens if you share a WIFI connection?  It’s not as reliable, inconsistent and it is easy to loose the signal.  Having a dedicated high speed line is much better!

What happens when I use a high speed connection and a slow computer?

If you can’t upgrade your operating system (beliefs), then it may be time to buy a new computer!!  Be willing to let go of the outdated system.

What happens when you loose the connection?

When you loose the connection, whatever the problem, the internet (Source) is still there.

Can you see how Allowing is just like a Google search?

New Location!

As of Feb. 1,  2010, Just Allow It is going to have a new home in Wilmette, IL.  The address is 297 Green Bay Rd. and is located just South of Jewel Foods.

This location is easily accessible to residence of the North Shore and 15 minutes from the Chicago border.  I will also be available at my current Chicago location.

From finding the location to the point of opening has been a wonderful example of what happens when you allow everything to be the way it is, stay present and follow the flow.  In a future post, I will share more details about this.

Why is it so hard to find wellness?

“I keep trying but wellness doesn’t come.   What’s wrong with me?  What am I doing wrong?  What else can I do to get well?”

These are all questions that I receive from clients and have at some point in my life asked myself.  First, there is nothing wrong with you at all.  Next, “trying” and “doing” are sure ways to keep you from wellness!

Wellness is located in the same place that you will find peace, joy and unconditional love.  OK…so where is that place?  It’s called awareness, stillness or be-ing-ness.  It’s always there and has always been there.  The problem is that your mind, which is not You but a tool, points you outside of yourself to look for the elusive wellness. Wellness is within you, but outside of your mind!  What??  Confused yet?

When you go outside your mind, which is awareness, then You can observe your thoughts from a very different perspective.  This allows for different possibilities, which have always been there, to show up in your life. Wellness is always there….we just have to allow it to blossom.  There is nothing to do, try or control!  Sorry mind! Your mind doesn’t want to hear this because it thinks it needs to control everything.  That’s why you may find your mind trying to fight you on this.

Believe!

Tennis anyone?

You may not be aware of it, but there is a 17 year old tennis player getting a lot of attention this week at The US Open.  She seems to have come out of nowhere and is now in the quarter finals after beating three top seeded players.  What does this have to do with Law of Attraction or Wellness?

Everything!!!  Why is she doing so well?  One of the stories about this young lady, Melanie Oudin, is that when shoes were made for her, her boyfriend suggested that instead of putting her name on them, they should be made with the word “BELIEVE” printed on them.  “BELIEVE” is printed on them and she does believe that she can compete against any of the players. Read on …

The Path

I saw the most beautiful sunrise over Lake Michigan this morning!

I often see the sunrise, but the colors and the flat water were exceptional today.  I was walking my dog, Akiba, and watching the sun come up. We walked behind an area where there were some large boulders.  I could see the sun, which had risen above the boulders, and part of this narrow path of light on the water.  But, I couldn’t see this path of light completely.  It was amazingly stunning over the flat water and I wanted to line up with it.  So, I quickly walked past the boulders hoping that when I got around them I would sill be in line with this amazing ray of light.  When I was on the other side of the boulders, I still was in complete alignment with this ray of light.  In fact, as I continued to walk, I would remain in complete alignment with the ray.

This made me realize a few things.  We are always on “the path”!  No matter how it looks or where we are, we are always moving along “the path”.  And when obstacles appear, it doesn’t mean that we are off “the path”.  It just means that we cannot see “the path” completely.  But rest assured, we are still there!  If you look past the obstacles, you can still see the way to the Sun or Source.  And if you move a bit (shift your perspective) the path becomes much clearer.

Not bad for one sunrise, eh?  That’s one check mark on the list of miracles that I ALLOWED myself to receive today!

How does it get better than this?
